Tips to Stay Positive during Tough Times


Did you know that the key to living a healthy and happy life is positive thinking?

Our mind is the most powerful part of our physical being and it can only hold one emotion, thought, or feeling.  If we are drowning ourselves in the negative, we attract more of it into our lives, but if we consciously choose to focus on positive thoughts, emotions, and feelings, we shift that energy and attract more positive experiences into our lives.  It is a lot easier than you think because positive energy is more powerful than negative. 

Now is the best time for all of us to consciously awaken and begin to make the positive shift in the world and in our lives.  So many millions of people are currently living in state of fear they are creating toxic energy in the world, which explains why we are all experiencing turmoil and tragedy around the globe.  Remember, you are not in your power or in control when you allow negative thoughts and feelings to take over.  Make a commitment to create this positive shift with these easy tools and you will see your life transform. 

You always feel and remain in the power of your mind, body, and spirit by focusing on positive thoughts.  Even the smallest positive thought in your mind creates powerful energy in your body.  Therefore, chose to stay positive with these simple yet powerful tools.

1.    Limit your interaction with negative people because those who are buried in the negative love to vent their emotions, thoughts, and feelings onto the next person.  If you can’t escape from the situation, create a visual of a barrier (like a metal shield, wall, curtain, energy…or whatever feels comfortable to you) between yourself and that individual and that barrier will shied you from that energy.  Just like a muscle, the more you use this technique the more powerful it becomes. 

2.    When you come across stressful situations, such as arguments, don’t allow the negative energy to take over.  Walk away from it, cool down then address the person or situation with a clear and focused mind.  Since our mind can only focus on one emotion, thought, or feeling focus on positive words such as calm, relaxed…and soon you will notice all those negative thoughts and emotions have left your mind and body.  You can choose to let others bring you down or you can choose to bring yourself up. Every time you are with a negative person, you have the choice to view him/her in a positive light. The more you practice being positive on a daily basis and make it an active choice in your life, the easier it will become to cope with negative people and situations.

3.    The most powerful tip is for you to allow yourself time to meditate every day for 15-30 minutes.  When I say meditate I don’t mean sit in a quiet place and empty your mind like a monk.  Living in our physical world it is almost impossible to free ourselves from our constant conscious thought patterns.  What I do mean is give yourself the gift of putting some new age or classic music that helps you relax and unwind.  For those 15-30 minutes only keep your focus on your goals, dreams or any thought that brings you the feelings of love, joy, and happiness.  Remember, the more positives you focus on in this relaxed state, the more quickly you manifest your goals and dreams into your life.  You can do this in a bath tub, sitting, in nature or any place that brings you peace.  As you give yourself permission to practice this process more and more on a weekly basis you will notice positive shifts in your life.  You will become more positive, have more focus and clarity, and your body will experience more health and vitality.

Benefits of Meditation


Daily meditation helps stop our mind chatter.  It provides mental, emotional, and spiritual health and well-being.  Studies show that individuals who meditate regularly live happier and healthier lives.  Most importantly, meditation on a regular basis reduces and even reverses disease of all types, including cancer.

The benefits don't stop there, because meditation also positively affects our body’s natural chemistry.  Studies also show that meditation has the power to significantly increase the production of several euphoric chemicals in our mind and body, which in turn help stabilize mood disorders, dramatically boost our memory, alleviate depression, and reduce stress.  Meditation also helps increase the production of serotonin in our brains, which positively influences our mood and behavior.

So give yourself the gift of healing, by starting each day with a meditation.  Please don’t think you have to be an expert to achieve a deep meditative state from the beginning.  Just give yourself a chance, by first dedicating 15 minutes to half an hour a day to sit in a quiet place, and second close your eyes and focus on your breathing or some relaxing new age music.  It seems difficult at first but if you stick to that routine I promise you, you will soon notice yourself going deeper into the meditative state a lot quicker and see the wonderful benefits meditation provides.

Surrender

Are you going through a tough time?  Does it seem like everything in your life is falling apart?

My answer to these questions is, Let go and Surrender all illusions of fear and worry. 

Currently, thousands of people are experiencing unemployment, their homes are endangered or already lost, the bills are piling up, or there is an illness in the family.  We must look at these challenges as opportunities for us to surrender and allow change to come.  Majority of the time this happens to us because we are too worried to let go of situations that are no longer working for us, because we are afraid of the unknown.

Often our feelings of lack bring up fears and worries that we have buried deep in our minds and hearts.  That is why we must repeatedly practice Surrender.  Learning to let go or Surrendering the need to control every situation in our lives is key.  Remember, when you Surrender it to the Higher Power Consciousness don't send a list of requirements on how you want it to be done.  Just let go and Trust/Believe that the end result will exceed your expectations because you chose not to limit yourself. 

Keep in mind that our Higher Self/Consciousness always offers two paths.  To achieve our goals easily or the most difficult and challenging way.  Almost always, we choose the most challenging path because although we are not happy with our current situation, that is our known.  This year, give yourself the gift to choose the easier path.

Choosing the easy path means achieving all your goals and dreams by Surrendering all worries, fears, insecurities... to the Universe.  What this simply means is that when you see nothing else works and everything around you is falling a part, it is really is a sign of positive change coming, because unless the current situation clears up you will not have the opportunity to move towards your goals and dreams.  So in reality, all negative situations in our lives are blessings in disguise. 

This is the perfect time for you to tap into or connect to your Higher Power Consciousness/Universal Energies, which in reality is already within us, a part of us and meditate, let go of all fears and focus on your true hearts desires.  Be creative, visualize and feel yourself already enjoying that goal/dream.  Keep positive or happy thoughts and focus on your goals with unwavering Faith. (With Faith Anything Is Possible, and Without It Nothing Is Possible)

This process needs to be done repeatedly or as often as needed, because majority of us do not like to surrender and let go of our control willingly and completely.  Some that do, see immediate positive results.  For those of us who think that by letting go we are losing control, which in fact we have already lost control since everything around us is going South, must turn within in, and  Surrender all the illusions of fears and worries knowing deep inside our hearts that our goals and dreams are being worked our behind the scenes and just because we don't see them happening right this moment does not mean they are not going to happen. 

In the beginning you will feel like nothing is changing.  Don't get discouraged.  Be Patient because practicing and learning how to Surrender always yields to happier and more positive outcomes. Just keep your thoughts and intentions on the end result and take steps to move forward.  Don't sit on the couch and wait for it to fall down from the sky.  The key here is to Surrender, Trust, and hold the Faith in the unseen energies of the Higher Power Consciousness and allow them to bring it to you.
 
When you receive the blessings accept them with love, gratitude, and appreciation, since the Law of Attraction states that the more you appreciate, the more positives you attract into your life.

2012 - Is it the End?

Millions of people fear that on December 21, 2012 the world is going to end because the Mayan Calendar ends.  What the average person does not realize is that living life filled with fears, worried, insecurities, and other negative thoughts creates a powerful negative energy force, which affects everyone around and most importantly our Mother Earth.  That is why we are experiencing so many catastrophes.

For the past year everyone keeps asking me, What is going to happen in 2012?

After months of meditation,  I can say in confidence that this is the END, but it is the end of an old era filled with fears, violence, and hate and it is the BEGINNING of a beautiful new human consciousness filled with Abundance, Love, Wisdom, and Healing. 

Keep in mind that the more receptive you are to this Love Energy, the easier your transformation will be. Being open and willing to accept this change will help you surrender all your fears, worries, and insecurities and replace them with Abundance and Love. 

This year give yourself the gift of change and healing.  Choose the path to consciously hold positive thoughts, help others in need, and be open to giving and receiving Love.  Because every time you exercise that right, you create powerful positive energy, which in turn not only heals you and everyone around you, it heals our Mother Earth as well. 

We each have the power to create Heaven on earth, but in order to do that we must choose our thoughts carefully.  The more we surround ourselves with positive thoughts and deeds, the happier, healthier, and more prosperous our lives become.

The Law of Attraction

Have you ever wondered why some people succeed, while others struggle to survive?

Well the answer lies in the Law of Attraction.

If you spend at least 17 seconds focusing on a thought, emotion, or feeling, you attract/manifest it into your life because everything comes to us through the Law of Attraction.  This means that Like Attracts Like, and no matter where we come from, this law applies to all of us.  So if we spend majority of our time focusing on negative thoughts, emotions, and feelings we attract just that into our lives.  This same rule applies if we hold positive thoughts, emotions, and feelings. 


Thus, remember to keep your thoughts focused on positives so you may attract good things into your life.
